Tolworth's Corinthian-Casuals display is back on Sunday 1 November: gates 4.30pm, adults £10, family £30. Epsom is 7 November. Kingsmeadow is not returning.

Bonfire night 2026 falls on Thursday 5 November. The borough’s one public display this year is Corinthian-Casuals’ at King George’s Field, Tolworth, on Sunday 1 November, gates 4.30pm, with tickets on sale now. The old town-wide display at Kingsmeadow is not coming back.

Updated 1 October: Corinthian-Casuals has announced its 2026 display and put tickets on sale. Epsom’s 7 November display is confirmed, but its booking page showed no tickets available on 1 October, after the early bird price ended.

We checked every organiser that has run a display in the borough in the past five years, and the ticketing systems they sell through. The results are below, along with the displays just over the boundary.

The town-wide display closed in 2024, and it is not coming back quietly

For 32 years the borough’s big display was the Kingston Round Table and Kingston Rotary show at the Weir Archer Athletics Stadium on Kingsmeadow, Kingston Road, KT1 3PB.

The organisers cancelled it. Their own website carried the notice: “It is with great sadness that Kingston Rotary & Kingston Round Table clubs are announcing that we will not be able to run the annual Fireworks Display at the Kingston Weir Archer Athletics Stadium on in November 2024.” They blamed “the more stringent regulations covering crowd safety issues, the demands from key stakeholders, the lack of support from the Borough Safety Advisory Group and the Police South West Events Team”, and said the event had run since 1992 and given “at least £200,000” to local charities including Kingston Foodbank, Kingston Samaritans and Voices of Hope.

Since then the trail has gone cold in a way that is hard to read as anything other than permanent:

  • kingstonfireworks.co.uk no longer resolves. A DNS lookup on 5 September 2026 returns SERVFAIL. The site is gone, not merely out of date.
  • Kingston Rotary Club publishes nothing. Its club diary reads “Sorry, no meetings or events have been added by the club”.
  • The display did not appear in any local listing for 2025 either.

If it returns, it will need a new website and a new safety approval. Neither has appeared.

Tolworth: Sunday 1 November, Corinthian-Casuals

The one display held inside the borough last year is back for 2026, at Corinthian-Casuals Football Club, King George’s Field, Queen Mary Close, Tolworth, KT6 7NA. The club’s fireworks page and its Ticketebo booking page both give Sunday 1 November 2026, gates open 4.30pm.

The minimum booking fee is 75p an order. Expect a food court, hot chocolate, mulled wine, music, indoor and outdoor bars, a mini play zone and a funfair, and the clubhouse bar stays open after the display. The booking page adds a Halloween disco and theme. Sparklers are not permitted.

Two details on the organiser’s own pages disagree, so allow for both:

  • Fireworks time. The club’s website says “approximately 6:45pm”; the Ticketebo description says “approximately 7:30pm”. Last year’s display was billed at about 6.45pm.
  • The date in one sentence. The Ticketebo summary line still says “Saturday 31st October”, but the event listing, the booking page’s structured date and the club’s own page all say Sunday 1 November.

Near the borough: Epsom, Saturday 7 November

The nearest big display is at Hook Road Arena, Chessington Road, Epsom, KT19 8QG, run by volunteers since 1971 with profits going to youth charities in Epsom and Ewell. The organiser’s site, epsomfireworks.com, confirms Saturday 7 November 2026, with a low-noise children’s show at 6.30pm, the main display at 7.30pm, a bonfire straight after, and a pay-per-ride funfair.

No tickets were on sale on 1 October. In September the organiser’s booking system sold standard tickets (age 5 and over) at an £8.50 early bird price to 30 September, £15 afterwards, with 100 premium tickets at £30 and a £2.50 booking fee; under-5s were free but needed a ticket. On 1 October, the day the early bird ended, the same booking page said only “Tickets for this event are not available yet”. The organiser has not said whether that is a pause between price bands or a sell-out, so check the booking page before you plan around it. Tickets are online only, never on the gate, and the organiser warns that most tickets offered on social media are scams.

There is no parking at the arena or in the surrounding area. The travel page says parking restrictions on the nearby roads run from noon to 11pm on the night. A free park and ride and bus service runs from 5pm to 9.45pm (last pick-up 7pm), with car parking at NESCOT, Reigate Road, Ewell (including disabled parking) and bus pick-ups at Longmead Industrial Estate, Epsom station, Tolworth station and the Ruxley Lane junction with the A24. The field is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Two more within reach, neither confirmed for 2026

Imber Court, Ember Lane, East Molesey, KT8 0BT. The Metropolitan Police sports club’s fireworks page advertises 5 November, gates 4pm, last entry 6.15pm, fireworks 6.45pm, with under-2s free, children aged 2 to 15 at £6, adults at £12 and a family ticket for two adults and two children at £32.

Treat that as last year’s page until the club says otherwise. It carries no year at all, and its “book tickets here” button still points at the Skiddle listing for “Imber Court Fireworks 2025 … Wed 05 November 2025”, which now returns HTTP 410. The 2025 date was a Wednesday. In 2026 the 5th is a Thursday.

Sandown Park, Portsmouth Road, Esher, KT10 9AJ. The Jockey Club ran a Halloween fireworks night on Thursday 30 October 2025 (adults £10, under-16s £6). On 1 October that page still showed the 2025 event, and nothing is published for 2026.

Chessington World of Adventures does not do fireworks

It is worth saying plainly, because people search for it. The resort’s events page lists Howl’o’ween on selected dates from 3 October to 1 November 2026, from £34 a person, and a Christmas event on selected dates from 21 November to 24 December, from £32. Neither includes a fireworks display.

If you are setting off your own

Kingston Council’s bonfires and fireworks page sets out where the line sits. “It is not an offence to have a bonfire, but there are laws about the effects of smoke, smell and ash from bonfires.” A bonfire can be a statutory nuisance under the Environmental Protection Act if it affects neighbours. Burning treated wood, tyres, plastics, rubber and oil is illegal. The council also asks people to stop bonfires and barbecues entirely during a drought period.

Getting there and parking

If you are going to Epsom, use the park and ride or the Tolworth station bus: there is no parking at the arena.
